Arrival at the train Station or Airport of Siena
The tour starts off in the south part of Siena, the hilly area of Asciano where you meet the tour guide. Within the city walls, it is possible to admire Tolomei Palace, Mencia Tower,( XVI century), Podesta Palace and the Church of Sant’ Agata. Drive to Mount Oliveto, characterized by the tuff and a clay cliff. Check in to Grand Hotel Chianciano Terme.

Departure for Montalcino.
The pentagonal fortress, located in D’ Orcia Valley, is the emblem of its inhabitants, who in the past ousted lost of invaders. Next stop is Banfi Castle, where you can enjoy the Brunello wine tasting and a lovely meal, ( included in the tour).
Transfer to the Abbey of Sant’ Antimo. A legend tells that, the Abbey was built in a day by fairies who carried columns on their shoulders, and rocks by hands. On the way back to the hotel, visit to Bagno Vignoni, a film location for one of the movies of the famous film director Tarkovsky.

Departure for Pienza, the ideal city wanted by Pio II. This small town appears as if suspended in the sky , because of the sunrays effect. Cheese tasting included in the tour, ( Cacio of Crete and Pecorino of Pienza). Next, visit to Montepulciano, a town with medieval and renaissance buildings designed by Antonio da Sangallo il Vecchio, Vignola, Baldassarre Peruzzi and Ippolito Scalza. Afterwards, wine tasting in a local wine house. Return to the hotel. Dinner in hotel.

Tour of private gardens among the beautiful countryside of Toscana.
The first visit is the Gothic Cela Castle, surrounded by a magnificent garden with splendid views.
Next is Vicobello Garden, designed by Baldassarre Peruzzi in 1531, with its outstanding terraced gardens , and a collection of exotic plants.
Afterwards, stop in Villa Geggiano and then Villa Cetinale, whose big garden stretches as far as the hermitage atop the hill. Buffet and aperitif arranged by the owners of the Villa, Margherita e Benedetta Anselmi.
